Bajaj Auto sets eye on Russian market, begins export of Pulsar

India's largest exporter of motorcycles and commercial vehicles BAJAJ AUTO Ltd., entered to the Russian market of motorcycles on 30th September, 2015. The company announced the debut of its flagship model PULSAR NS 200 in Russia together with East West Motors, the appointed Distributor for Russia for BAJAJ AUTO Ltd.
Mr. Rakesh Sharma, the President of International Business of BAJAJ AUTO Ltd. in his inspiring address touched upon BAJAJ’s entry into Russia and the difference it will make to the motorcycle market. “We believe that next year will be an exciting period for Russia where Bajaj Auto will mesmerize the customers with its world class product offering”.

The company also unveiled the new PULSAR RS 200, the latest in the PULSARs range which is expected to be on the roads in Russia the start of next season.
Also present were senior officials of the International Business team of BAJAJ AUTO Ltd., Mr. Sameer Deshpande – General Manager, Mr. Laveen Gupta – Senior Manager, Mr. Gaurav Khanna – Manager and Mr. Alex Alekseev – Director of East West Motors.

The primary objectives for Russian distributor East West Motors Company, are to expand the dealer network and creating a positive brand image in the eyes of consumers.
For 2016, East West Motors plan to conclude fifty dealership contracts and coverage of the entire central and southern parts of the country. Later followed by a full-scale expansion into the markets of Siberia and the Far East.
